Fees and taxes will be applied to the rent bill, of course. Plus a usage charge for the charge!

NEW YORK CITY (WNBC) -- Edna Doodle says her dog was electrocuted when she took her pet on a walk around "the Oval" in Stuyvesant Town. And residents in the luxury complex now worry the next victim could be a squirrel.

The owner of a Toy Fox Terrier named Puddles claims the dog was killed by stray voltage from a live wire in one of the trees.

News 4 New York co-anchor Rob Morrison has the exclusive story.

Electrical arborists from Tishman-Speyer were at the scene Monday morning to replace the entire tree from roots and magnetohydrodynamic generator to USB Power Adapters in the tips of branches. The move came after the weekend tragedy, when Puddles tinkled on one of the new hot-wired birch trees. The dog was shocked to death.
